Vilnius Gediminas Technical University

At present the University includes 8 faculties, Aviation Institute named after A.Gustaitis, International Studies Centre, Centre for Continuous Education, 10 research institutes and 19 laboratories.

Teaching staff numbers 919, including 50  Research fellows. There are also 117 Doctors Habil and Professors, 508 Doctors or Associate Professors, 75 Lectors and 248 Assistants.

The University provides 88 programmes for diploma engineers, undregraduate and graduate (Bachelor and Master) studies in the fields of Humanity Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Technological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Art Sciences.

VGTU is now taking part in 20 international projects related to scientific research and educational issues.
